Established in 2010, AndersonPens.net was developed to combine the efforts of Brian Anderson's
Esterbrook.net, and Lisa Anderson's ProperPads to bring pens and paper together all in one place.
We have over 30 years of combined experience buying, selling, collecting and using vintage and modern fountain pens, inks, and fine papers.
We are both proud members of the
Pen Collectors of America. We encourage you to check out their site and become a member!
In November of 2013 we opened up a retail brick and mortar pen store in downtown Appleton WI. We invite you to stop by if you are ever in the area! There is plenty of parking available nearby the City Center Plaza which we are in.

Collecting pens since 1998, Brian started the Esterbrook.net project basically to catalog some of the variances in his own Esterbrook collection. The project quickly got completely out of control and soon he was buying and selling all sorts of different kinds of pens.
Hard rubber pens with some form of ornamentation, whether that be sterling silver, gold fill, or solid gold with bands, overlays and filigree work are now of interest. Aikin Lambert, Paul Wirt, John Holland and Waterman are accumulating in the pen chest more often than not these days. Modern pens do seem to be working their way into rotation though, including OMAS, Sailor, Sheaffer Legacy, and Delta pens.
Brian takes care of all the pen repair, images and pen listings here at AndersonPens.net, as well as answering all those minutiae on Esterbrook you can think of.
Lisa has been collecting pens since about 1997. Also originally heavily interested in Esterbrook (Paul Hoban crowned her the "Queen of Esterbrook"), She now has interests in completing her Skripsert and Wearever Lady Faire (the Skripsert wanna-be's) collection, good vintage Pelikan and Conway Stewart pens, old style Namiki Vanishing Points, and a nice Waterman Ripple here and there. Her Aurora Mare and 75th Anniversary pens are always in rotation. Other favorites include slim S.T. Dupont, Sailor, Kaweco Sport, and Lamy Safari pens.
Lisa started making notepads years ago and is well known on the pen show circuit for her lively personality, her beautiful red hair, and of course that amazing paper.
Currently the President of the Pen Collectors of America, Lisa is active in the pen community; this the second time being elected to the PCA board.
Lisa is your notepad customization expert, Ink Expert, as well as shipping expert extraordinaire here at AndersonPens.net.
